From online banking and mobile wallets to QR code transactions and Unified Payment Interfaces (UPI), these innovations have significantly advanced financial inclusion, especially in developing nations. This paper delves into the progression of digital payments, assesses their influence on financial inclusion, and examines the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, empirical analyses, and case studies from various countries, the study identifies prevailing trends, existing gaps, and offers actionable recommendations for policymakers and financial institutions.
