Abstract

This comprehensive scientific article analyzes the interrelationship and synergistic effect of four key pillars of the modern global education system: educational innovation, pedagogical transformation, digital education, and the STEAM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), the gap between the conservative structure of education systems and exponential technological growth is examined as a fundamental challenge. The article evaluates, based on international experience, the didactic potential of artificial intelligence (AI), Metaverse environments, immersive technologies (VR/AR), and project-based and problem-based learning (PBL) methods. The study applies a systematic literature review (SLR) methodology and synthesizes recent scientific trends from the Scopus and Web of Science databases. As a result, a three-stage strategic integration model was developed, aimed at reducing the digital divide, enhancing teachers’ technological pedagogical competence (TPACK), and modernizing the assessment system.
