Abstract

This thesis examines the issue of improving the management system in non-state higher education institutions based on the principles of corporate governance. The relevance of the study is determined by the expansion of the non-state higher education sector, increasing competition in the market for educational services, and growing requirements for the quality of education, financial sustainability, and transparency of management. The paper substantiates the emergence of a multi-level conflict of interests among founders, management, faculty members, students, the state, and employers in non-state higher education institutions. As a result of the study, a corporate governance model is proposed that includes a Supervisory Board, separation of powers, internal control, management accounting, a differentiated KPI system, and a transparent remuneration mechanism.
