Abstract
The article analyzes the relationship between digital censorship, information security, and the right to freedom of expression in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It examines constitutional guarantees of freedom of speech and cybersecurity legislation, as well as their significance for educational policy. The need for a pedagogical balance between protecting society from harmful content and respecting fundamental individual rights is substantiated. The role of digital literacy and critical thinking is emphasized as a key condition for developing a responsible digital culture.
