Abstract
This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the impact of inflation on the living standards of the population. It is shown that inflation, by reducing the value of money and decreasing the purchasing power of the population, leads to a decline in real income and living standards. The article details the main causes of inflation, its positive and negative aspects, its impact on different population groups, the situation in the case of Uzbekistan, and proposes ways to manage it. The research results confirm that high inflation leads to severe consequences, especially for low-income families.
