Abstract
The article analyzes modern didactic opportunities for developing critical thinking and independent learning skills within the system of continuous education. It also highlights the impact of the digital educational environment, competency-based approaches, and interactive teaching methods on educational effectiveness. The author scientifically substantiates innovative methods of organizing independent learning and pedagogical mechanisms aimed at developing critical thinking.
