Integration of information systems based on transformation of XML and JSON data formats

Abstract
This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of information systems integration based on the transformation of XML and JSON data formats. During the research, the structural features of XML and JSON formats, their efficiency in data exchange, and their application in REST API and SOAP technologies were comparatively studied. In addition, the processes of transforming XML-based data into JSON format, as well as the role of parser technologies, DOM, and SAX mechanisms in integration systems were examined. The research results showed that the JSON format provides higher data transmission speed, while the XML format ensures stronger structural reliability and validation capabilities. The findings indicate that the use of transformation mechanisms in information systems integration plays an important role in ensuring interoperability between systems and improving the efficiency of data exchange.
