Abstract

This article analyzes the economic efficiency of implementing resource-saving technologies in the agriculture of Uzbekistan during the transition to a green economy. Based on statistical data for 2021-2025, the application of water-saving irrigation systems, renewable energy sources, digital and information-communication technologies is studied. According to the research results, the introduction of resource-saving technologies allows reducing water resource consumption by 30-60% and electricity consumption by 40-50%. According to 2025 data, a total of 4 trillion 316 billion soums worth of equipment was supplied on lease through Uzagroleasing, which is 176% higher than the previous year. The area where water-saving technologies are applied amounts to 75 thousand hectares, and subsidies provide compensation of 6-8 million soums per hectare. Converting pumping units to solar panels based on the "Khorezm experience" saves 33.7 million soums of electricity per year on a 40-hectare cotton field.
