Abstract
The article examines the transformation processes of the phraseological composition of the Russian language in the context of the digitalization of the educational environment. The study analyzes the functioning of new phraseological units in students’ Internet discourse as well as the mechanisms of semantic renewal of traditional phraseological expressions under the influence of digital communication. Particular attention is paid to the impact of educational platforms, social networks, and distance learning on the development of modern language practice. The methodological basis of the research includes structural-semantic, contextual, and discourse analysis methods. The study identifies the main trends in the transformation of modern Russian phraseology: memetization, intertextuality, language compression, hybridization, and the strengthening of the pragmatic function of stable expressions. It is concluded that the digital educational environment acts as an independent factor in the renewal and development of the phraseological system of the Russian language.
