The New Era of the Digital Economy: AI and Sustainable Transformation

Abstract
This article examines the new stage of the digital economy, focusing on the role and significance of artificial intelligence technologies in economic processes. It also explores the concept of sustainable transformation and its economic, environmental, and social dimensions. The article considers how the application of artificial intelligence in manufacturing, finance, agriculture, and other sectors can improve efficiency while enabling the rational use of resources. It also analyzes challenges arising during digital transformation, including shortages of skilled personnel, data security, and technological inequality. Finally, the prospects for developing the digital economy in Uzbekistan are assessed, and the important role of artificial intelligence in this process is substantiated.
