FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT TRENDS OF THE GREEN ECONOMY: INTEGRATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY AND ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY

Abstract
This article analyzes the formation and development trends of the green economy and the integration of environmental sustainability with economic efficiency. International experience and Uzbekistan’s transition strategy towards a green economy were examined. The results show that renewable energy, energy efficiency and green investments are important factors for sustainable development. Practical recommendations for accelerating the transition to a green economy in Uzbekistan are proposed.
