Abstract
This paper discusses the responsible integration of artificial intelligence tools into higher education from methodological, organizational and ethical perspectives. The study examines the potential of adaptive learning, automated feedback, learning analytics and virtual academic assistants, and identifies the limitations of their implementation in the context of higher education in Uzbekistan. As a result, a staged model is proposed in which AI is used transparently and purposefully as a tool that supports, rather than replaces, pedagogical decision-making.
