21st CENTURY COMPETENCIES (4Cs) AND PROJECT-BASED LEARNING: COMMUNICATION, COLLABORATION, CRITICAL THINKING AND CREATIVITY IN PRIMARY SCHOOL EFL CLASSES

Abstract
This paper theoretically examines the integration of 21st century 4C competencies (Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Creativity) with Project-Based Learning (PBL) methodology in primary school EFL classes. Through a critical review of existing scholarship, it investigates both the opportunities and constraints of this approach for developing communicative competence, and proposes a conceptual model adapted to the Uzbekistan educational context.
